September 2011 – Anna Fox, Andrew Bruce and Pradeep Menon (Lucida) visit India’s oldest photography school, on route to shooting Pulikali in Thrissur.

Light and Light Academy has been running for 11 years, directed by  photographer Iqbal Mohamed who rasied support frm Kodak to start the academy, this well equipped school is set in the heart of the Ooty hills surrounded by wildlife and tea plantations. Light and Life has extensive studio space and darkrooms and home cooking for a maximum of 40 students per year. They specialise in commercial practice and have not yet taken foreign students; it is a very impressive set up.
